StenAst® 2EP OR is a two-component, epoxy-based primer designed for applications on oily surfaces. It is suitable for use with all Stenkim polymer-based surface coatings, top coats and joint sealants. Thanks to its special formula, it provides strong adhesion on oily surfaces and prevents oil stains from resurfacing over time, while protecting the applied surface and preventing dusting.
Areas of Use
StenAst® 2EP OR is designed mainly for surfaces where oil contamination cannot be fully removed. With its excellent adhesion, it creates an ideal primer layer, especially on concrete surfaces, for floor coating, repair and joint sealing applications with StenCoat®, StenSeal®, StenSport® and StenCare®. It enhances the adhesion of polymer-modified cementitious materials applied to old concrete for repair or coating purposes, and it is also used to fill microcracks and act as a surface hardener and dust inhibitor for concrete pavements.
