StenCoat® 2EP HC is a two-component, epoxy-based conductive coating. Thanks to its high surface and volume conductivity it acts as a charge dissipator, and can be used as an intermediate or top coat in seamless conductive or antistatic systems. It is resistant to moisture, fuels, oils, inorganic acids and diluted bases, and prevents dusting and wetting while increasing the surface’s resistance to water.
Areas of Use
StenCoat® 2EP HC is used to create a floor that prevents static electricity build-up in factory floors, fuel storage facilities, areas where flammable gases are processed, filled or stored, sites where explosive materials are manufactured or stored, and environments where sensitive electronic materials are produced. It is preferred where high-thickness antistatic coatings or very fast static discharge are required. It is also applied as a conductive paint on metal surfaces such as the inside of fuel tanks, ensuring charges are transmitted to ground as soon as they reach the surface.
