StenCare® 2IP-1 is a solvent-free, two-component polyurethane injection resin with a 1:1 mixing ratio. Its slow-gelling behavior allows deep, long-distance injection, making it especially effective for strata reinforcement in mining and tunnel works. It adheres excellently to various rock, substrates and concrete, and delivers high tensile and compressive strength. It has low flammability, releases no VOCs during use, and its low exotherm makes for a safe application.
Areas of Use
StenCare® 2IP-1 is used in mining and tunnel applications for soil stabilization and for filling cracks in tunnel-lining and diaphragm concretes. When used as an injection material, it stops water leakage. Penetrating deeply, it fills voids and cracks between layers with a high-strength, high-adhesion polyurethane resin, and its slow gelling enables long-distance injection.
