StenMix® SUPA 220 is a naphthalene sulfonate based, high-range water-reducing, high-performance superplasticizing concrete admixture. It is designed in particular for work requiring extended and controlled setting times at high ambient temperatures. It conforms to the requirements of EN 934-2 Table 11.1 & 11.2 and ASTM C 494 Type G.
Areas of Use
StenMix® SUPA 220 is used in the production of flowable concrete to improve surface quality and density. It is especially suited to densely reinforced slabs, foundations, ceilings, walls, beams and columns where extended and controlled setting times are required at high ambient temperatures.
It can also be used in high early strength precast and pre-stressed concrete applications and in work requiring early formwork removal. Added to ready-mix concrete it provides excellent workability and eliminates the risk of segregation during transport and placement.
