StenSolver PU is the member of the StenSolver product family designed as a solvent and thinner for solvent-based polyurethane products. It is a zero-moisture mixture of propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate (PMA), butyl acetate and xylene. It offers high solvency power and a balanced evaporation rate, and does not mix with water.
Areas of Use
It is used for cleaning and thinning the solvent-based polyurethane products manufactured by Stenkim. It is effective for cleaning contaminated equipment before the material hardens; hardened residues can be softened by soaking in the solvent. Thanks to its zero moisture content, it can be safely used as a thinner in moisture-sensitive polyurethane formulations.
