StenCure® RS is a polyacrylate-based curing material that prevents water loss in fresh concrete and creates a sealing layer on the concrete surface. It is used after all fresh concrete and concrete surface hardening applications to enable proper curing and to prevent dusting that may occur on the surface. It meets the requirements of ASTM C 309 Type I Class B and TS 10966 A-1.
Areas of Use
StenCure® RS forms a protective layer on the concrete surface that prevents water loss and, by allowing the concrete to cure normally, prevents the strength losses and shrinkage cracks that premature drying can cause. It increases the concrete’s resistance to carbonation and ion permeability, and on old concrete surfaces it acts as an impregnation to boost concrete strength. Thanks to its special chemical structure it prevents surface dusting, and the transparent, protective film that forms after application provides sealing. It can be safely used on all types of horizontal and vertical large concrete surfaces exposed to external conditions.
