StenCoat® 2EP WT is a two-component, epoxy-based protective paint for water tanks, safe for potable-water applications. It can be used on concrete or metal surfaces. It forms a waterproof layer that protects storage tank surfaces from corrosion and the unwanted effects of continuous fluid contact. It has high mechanical and chemical resistance. Being solvent-free, it can be used comfortably in enclosed spaces; once cured it is harmless to health and can be safely used at points in contact with food and drinking water. It is produced in various colors.
Areas of Use
StenCoat® 2EP WT can be used to protect all kinds of horizontal and vertical surfaces from water contact or to make them waterproof. On facades and walls in particular it can be used as a barrier against gas and vapor permeability and is resistant to various chemicals. It is used mainly for the interior protection of liquid storage areas, drinking-water tanks, swimming pools and areas where oil and fuel are stored. The coating retains its high mechanical properties, elasticity and impact resistance for a long time and is resistant to weak acids and bases, chlorine, salt water, oils and fuels.
