StenSeal® 2EP 131 is a two-component, cold-applied, chemically cured epoxy-based joint filler with high bond strength, suitable for heavy traffic conditions. What sets it apart from the rest of its family is its rheology: it is designed for sloped, vertical and overhead joints, and formulated not to sag during application. Its high modulus makes it particularly suitable for renewing old joints and repairing concrete cracks.
It is resistant to many chemicals, including organic and inorganic acids, alkalis and various others.
Areas of Use
StenSeal® 2EP 131 has been developed specifically for repairing damaged, crumbling or widened old joints, and for filling cracks in concrete surfaces. Because it is non-sag, it can be used safely in vertical, sloped and overhead joints where a self-leveling resin would run out of the joint.
It is preferred for repairing joints and cracks exposed to forklift traffic in warehouses, bonded warehouses, storage depots, production facilities and floors with heavy racking systems. It suits any joint or concrete crack that needs high load-carrying capacity with only limited flexibility.
